Lord Shiva Temple

Lord Ramachandra Temple
Yet another pilgrimage of Hindus, Lord Ramachandra Temple was built by Raja Jagat Singh in the 17th century. It is believed that Lord Ram brought the temple from Ayodhya to Manikaran. The temple boasts gorgeous idols of Lord Ram and his wife, Goddess Sita. The temple has 3 halls and 40 rooms for the devotees. A langar is also organised in the temple.
Kulant Pith
Lord Shiva’s stay in Manikaran marks the purity of the place. Vishnu Kund is said to be one of the most sacred and purest of all the kunds. People believe that a dip into this kund can wash away all the sins and takes away all the anger and evil. And some believe that one who eats the food cooked in this water goes to the Vishnu Lok.
