Hosted on the grandest scale possible, most of them are a pure visual treat to discerning eyes as they offer a rich peek into the culture and spirit of this vibrant city. #New York St Patrick’s Day Parade

#Tribeca Film Festival

Feel the glitz and glamor of Cannes and the Sundance Film Festivals right here in NYC! Take part in over 1,000 special film screenings, award ceremonies or special galas, events that are the hallmark of any top international film festival in the world. Opened in 2002 and hosted in the beginning of April every year, attend Robert De Niro’s Tribeca Film Festival which was a healing touch to a city wounded by the September 11, 2001 tragedies.

#Macy’s Firework Spectacular

When the 4th of July comes, New Yorkers wait with great anticipation to watch some of the world’s largest firework displays. Attracting over 2 million people every year, the event, celebrated for over 40 years, ranks among the top draws in the city. In addition to electric set pieces on barges, it’s joined by the NYC Fire Department which helps fill the air with multi-colored water streams from fire boats.

#Harlem Week

No event captures the rich culture and history of this vibrant city better than month long Harlem Week. This 40-year old event features everything, from diverse performances to film shows to fashion displays. To top it all, more live shows, events and activities take place during the two-day street fair which is the main event in the third weekend of August.

#Atlantic Antic

Join the strong crowd of over a million people who take part in this biggest street fair in NYC. Spanning over 10 Brooklyn blocks, this end of September event buzzes with different types of music and foods from all parts of the globe. With lots of fun activities for children, this can be your perfect family outing in the city.

Village Halloween Parade

The sight of thousands of Halloween costumed New Yorkers parading on the streets is a purely visual delight. Over 2 million spectators gather every year on the 31st of October to savor the different types of music, dancers and artists frolicking along Sixth Avenue from Spring Street to 16th Street.
